Summer is here—don’t forget to dust mite-proof your mattress!

Suddenly remembered that the mattress at home has been in use for about two years and hasn’t been properly maintained much at all, so last week I hired someone to come over and remove dust mites. The mattress was purchased from Donble Mattress, and this time they sent their own team to handle the mite removal.

The staff called ahead to schedule an appointment with me, asking me to gather the bed sheets, pillows, and any valuables in advance. When they arrived, they were all wearing Dongbao uniforms and disposable shoe covers—and even brought a thoughtful gift, giving off a very professional vibe. First, they laid down a clean cloth on the floor, carefully placed the equipment on top, set everything up, and then got straight to work removing dust mites from the mattress. After finishing the front side, they flipped the mattress over to treat the reverse side as well. But that wasn’t all—they even used a specialized cleaner to thoroughly sanitize my leather bed too!

After the mite removal process was complete, Dongbao’s staff took out the basin and showed me the results—sure enough, a thick layer of debris was floating on the water’s surface. They explained that standard vacuum cleaners simply don’t have enough suction power, which is why Dongbao uses a professional mite-removal machine. This advanced device not only extracts deep-seated mites, dust, hair, and other impurities from the mattress but also channels them directly into the basin, where the floating residue you see consists of dead mites and human skin flakes.

I jokingly told the staff at Dongbao, "You wouldn’t believe it until you see it—once I checked, I was shocked to find just how much gunk had accumulated on the mattress I sleep on every day. It’s enough to give me goosebumps just thinking about it—but now I can finally sleep soundly tonight." In the end, I expressed my complete satisfaction with Dongbao’s mite-removal service.

In fact, during sleep, the human body naturally produces sweat and moisture, which your mattress absorbs over time. This trapped moisture can create an ideal environment for bacteria and dust mites to thrive—leading to issues like itchy skin, allergies, respiratory problems, and ultimately lowering the quality of your sleep and daily life. To safeguard the sleep health of yourself and your loved ones, regularly removing dust mites from your mattress is absolutely essential.
