The inaugural "Dongbao Dream" Square Dance Friendship Competition Achieves Complete Success

On the afternoon of March 18, 2023, the inaugural "Dongbao Dream" Square Dance Friendship Competition Finals were successfully held at the Hall of Home Inn in Houjie, Dongguan. The event was sponsored by Donble Mattress and organized by the Dongguan Professional Committee of the China Cultural and Artistic Talent Pool National Square Dance Program.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Chen Zuliang delivered a passionate speech on behalf of Donble Mattress: "First of all, thank you all for your support and participation! Helping others brings joy to ourselves—benefiting others ultimately benefits ourselves. It is precisely this Dongbao spirit that has inspired the original vision behind today’s ‘Dongbao Dream’ square dance event: promoting nationwide fitness, encouraging creativity, fostering friendship, and supporting charitable causes."

At the opening ceremony, President Wei Fangying, representing the organizers, announced the competition rules and encouraged everyone to actively participate in the national fitness movement—live life to the fullest and showcase your best! After more than three hours of captivating performances by all the dance teams, the judges carefully evaluated and scored each group. Ultimately: the "Sunshine Mommy Dance Team" took first place, while the "Square Dance Promotion Center Dance Team" and the "Yifang Dance Team" tied for second place. Meanwhile, the "Xinyue Dance Team," "Shilongkeng Happy Walk Dance Team," and "Hengda Yayuan Dance Team" shared third place.

The inaugural "Dongbao Dream" Square Dance Friendship Competition kicked off in Houjie, Dongguan, in 2021, expanding across various towns and districts in Dongguan. Due to the pandemic, the event stretched over three challenging years, facing numerous obstacles along the way—but ultimately bringing health, joy, and happiness to participants! This year’s grand finale attracted a massive turnout, inspiring countless residents to join in square dance activities and playing a vital role in promoting Dongguan’s city-wide fitness initiatives!

It is understood that the "Dongbao Dream" Square Dance Friendship Competition encourages participants to create diverse dance routines set to the "Dongbao Dream" song, with winners judged and awarded prizes. Additionally, the event serves as a charitable initiative—participants are invited to donate to a specially set-up public welfare donation box on-site, and Donble Mattress will also contribute by donating a batch of essential bedding items to support the cause.

Liu Xiaoqin, Chief Captain of Tongxin Public Welfare; Li Xiongfei, Executive Director of the Dongguan Station of the "Good People China" Lei Feng Post; and Yu Hui, Captain of the Houjie Service Team "Let Love Return Home," all expressed their appreciation for Donble Mattress's generous contributions to public welfare initiatives. They also called on more national and caring enterprises to join the cause, pledging to support and assist more impoverished individuals in need.

Since joining the "Love Alliance," the company has continuously visited Shangtong Middle School in Wengcheng Town over the past three years to deliver heartfelt donations.
