Take the formaldehyde emission levels of mattresses as an example: National Standard GB 18580-2017 mandates that these levels must be below 0.124 mg/m³, whereas China’s Green Product requirements specify an even stricter limit—below 0.05 mg/m³. Clearly, the Chinese Green Product certification imposes far more stringent criteria for mattress formaldehyde emissions.
